Man’s goal has no future past their death, but nature is a powerful, never-ending cycle.

Ah! that was Sit-cum-to-ha, shrilly anathematizing the dogs as she …

The Bible tells us that the Law is liberty, which I define as “life and freedom” (James 1:25). The Law is good (1 Timothy 1:8) and perfect, converting the soul and making wise the simple (Psalm 19:7). It is spiritual (Romans 7:14), it is light ( Proverbs 6:23) and the truth ( Psalm 119:142). The commandments are faithful ( Psalm 119:86) and

In The Law of Life by Jack London we have the theme of acceptance, mortality, connection, tradition, loneliness, struggle and selfishness. Narrated in the third person by an unnamed narrator the reader realises after reading the story that London may be exploring the theme of acceptance.
Our story today is called “The Law of Life.” It was written by Jack London. Here is Shep O’Neal with the story. SHEP O’NEAL: The old Indian was sitting in the snow. It was Koskoosh, former chief of his tribe. Now, all he could do was sit and listen to the others. His eyes were old. He could not see, but his ears were wide open to every sound.
Nature did not care. To life she set one task, gave one law. To perpetuate was the task of life, its law was death. A maiden was a good creature to look upon, full-breasted and strong, with spring to her step and light in her eyes.
Example: London says in the first sentence that Old Koskoosh is "greedy" to listen to his people as much as he can before he dies One main theme of "Law of Life" is death. The story is in the last few hours of his life. Many people in the story die of ways with no sense in struggling to stay alive.
