Some US states consider OTF knives to be weapons and do not allow carrying or using them. As such, you need to find out what the law says about owning and carrying an Out The Front knife in your area before investing in one. This feature makes it safe and comfortable to carry OTF knives.
There are two kinds of OTF knives. Single Action OTF: These switchblades do not allow the blade to retract on the press of a button, thus the manual compression of the spring is required to sheath.
