Re: maryland traffic laws 2007. Yes. The Md. laws have changed recently, making this a jailable offense of up to 60 days even for a first offense. Thus, an officee could arrest you and you could be held until posting bond. You should contact a lawyer immediately who can help get this person out of jail, if necessary, and handle this case in court.
